In this class, students will learn how to “unpack” text to dig deeper into their character work. Learning how to analyze a text to understand a character’s obstacles, objectives and tactics, is a vital component of an actor’s training, whether they are focused on film acting, plays, or musical theatre. Each student will be assigned a scene to work on, learning how to make bold and specific choices, to create unique and dynamic characters! The class will culminate with an invited Zoom presentation for friends and family.
