In a time unlike any other, we have an opportunity unlike ever before. We get the chance to make a movie! Using the actual Broadway script, cast members will learn film acting technique and terminology. They will experience a new process as we make a modern movie musical that will premiere for a worldwide audience.
Our most important priority is keeping everyone safe. This session will follow all CDC, state, and county regulations for COVID-19. All sessions are subject to change based on county and state COVID-19 requirements. Links to all of the rules and protocols can be found here.
Cast members will be asked to send in audition videos. They will choose one song and one scene from the show. Audition material will be provided. Callbacks will be held virtually. All registered participants will be cast in the movie. Auditions determine roles. There may be more than one cast in each session.
...will be fun!
....try something new
You're a Good Man Charlie Brown (Revised), the Movie Musical, will premiere worldwide this fall. Showtimes TBA.
A Live Showcase
The final evening of the session, cast members will present a showcase of their work for family, following Sacramento County Parks and Recreation spectator rules and regulations.
Parents...take a break! No parent committees this summer. We will ask families to provide their own costumes, which could be as simple as modern summer camp attire. Details and suggestions will be provided.
